This page is about you.

(Well — mostly.)

YOU.

You're the one taking the risk. Signing the payroll. Making the calls at midnight with incomplete information. Trying to build something that matters.

Marketing is supposed to help you do that. Most of the time, it doesn't — not because you're doing it wrong, but because the way most companies approach it is structurally broken.

THE PROBLEM

The way most founders try to fix marketing
doesn't work.

They hire an agency. Or they hire a full-time CMO before they're ready — six-figure salary, six-month ramp, no guarantee of fit.

Neither solves the real problem. And both create a new one: dependency. You're either dependent on an agency that's already moved their best person to a newer account, or a full-time hire whose interests aren't perfectly aligned with yours.

What you actually need at this stage is a strategic leader who comes in, builds the system, raises the capability of your team — and makes themselves progressively less necessary, not more.

01

Agency assigns their best rep to your account

Results show up. You're excited. This is working.

02

That rep moves to a newer, shinier client

A junior takes over. You don't notice immediately.

03

Results drop

You're not sure why. You give it another month.

04

You cancel. You find a new agency.

Repeat. Your team still doesn't know how to do any of this.

The alternative: build the capability inside

Strategy, systems, and leadership — transferred to your team from day one.

You're Luke.
I'm Yoda.
Here's what that means.

You are the hero of this story. Not me. My job is to hand you the lightsaber, not carry it for you.

I come in as your strategic marketing leader. I build the strategy, run the team, and own the results. But from day one, I'm also building your capability so that when I step back, your marketing keeps moving.

The goal is your independence, not my indispensability. I lead with high support and high challenge. That means I'll push back when something's wrong, stand behind you when it's right, and tell you things no one else in the room is saying, because that's actually what leadership looks like.

I've been a Star Wars nerd since I was six years old and saw the original in theaters. The lesson I took away then, and still carry now — is that the most powerful person in the room is often the quietest one. The one asking better questions. The one who already knows you have what it takes.

HOW I WORK

YOUR ROLE

The Hero

"Already know you that which you need."

— Yoda, probably talking about your Q3 marketing strategy

What this looks like in practice

- I build the system, you own it

- I raise your team's capability, not their dependency on me

- I tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear

- When I step back, your marketing keeps moving

YEARS IN THE GAME

A BIT ABOUT ME

I've been on
both sides of the table.

I started as an actress — which taught me the one thing most marketers never fully learn: the audience decides everything. If they're not engaged, that's not their problem. It's yours.

I moved into marketing during the early internet, when digital was still being invented and best practices were just educated guesses. I've since worked across 18+ industries — homebuilders, health tech, pharma, financial services, government, automotive, hospitality — and that range does something to you. You stop seeing marketing as tactics. You start seeing patterns.

Then I built my own businesses. Including a coworking company I took from zero to 90% occupancy during a pandemic. I know what it feels like to be you — the cash flow pressure, the 11pm decisions, the moment when marketing isn't working and you don't know why.

That combination — agency side, operator side, founder — is what makes me different from someone who's only ever sat in one chair.

HOW I THINK

A few things I believe that might tell you if we're a fit.

Not values-page platitudes. The things that actually shape how I work — and why some clients are a better match than others.

You are the hero. I am not.

My job is to equip you, challenge you, and step back. The goal is always your independence — not my indispensability. I'm here to make myself progressively less necessary.

High support. High challenge. Always both.

Agreeing with everything isn't support — it's negligence. I'll tell you what you need to hear when it matters. And I'll stand behind you when you're right. Both are acts of respect.

Busy is not a strategy.

Clarity, focus, and the right priorities beat volume every time. I'm not here to add to your chaos. I'm here to reduce it — and make sure the work that's happening is the work that matters.

Obstacles are information, not verdicts.

Budget cut. Launch delayed. Market shifted. Good — now we know something we didn't before. Every constraint is a redirect. Every setback is data. This isn't optimism. It's a more accurate way to read what's happening.

Start from the ground up.

Best practices are someone else's solution to someone else's problem. I work from first principles — what's actually true about your business, your customer, your moment — and build from there. No inherited assumptions.

Small improvements compound.

Not one dramatic transformation. Thousands of better decisions, made consistently, over time. The companies that grow aren't doing extraordinary things — they're doing ordinary things with extraordinary discipline.
